Diari de Girona / CULTURA – 11.10.2024 | The Begur International Comedy Film Festival will kick off today with the screening of The Miracle Club, starring British actress Maggie Smith, who passed away a few weeks ago. During the opening ceremony, the Josep Carreras Award, which recognizes the work of on-set photographers, will be presented to Laurie Sparham.
Additionally, a short film paying tribute to Josep Carreras, the photographer after whom the award is named, titled “El fotògraf de Begur” and directed by Teresa Crespo, will be screened.
