The documentary La vida secreta de Portlligat will be screened, followed by a panel discussion
La Pera — The Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation and the Begur Comedy Film Fest have joined forces to rediscover the Empordà painter’s cinephile side. The initiative aims to plant the seed for a collaborative project that will expand in future editions. This year, the award-winning documentary La vida secreta de Portlligat. La casa de Salvador Dalí (2017) will be screened, accompanied by a panel discussion exploring this aspect of the artist. “Dalí didn’t want to limit himself to painting, and cinema interested him greatly,” stated the director of the Dalí Museums, Montse Aguer, during the project’s presentation. The festival will reveal the full lineup for its 12th edition, taking place from October 2 to 10, this Tuesday.
